Founding Member of MMM Son Shot Dead

Brother Dawud Salaam, who lives currently in Colorado Springs, CO, 22 year old son, Jamil was shot and killed early Tuesday morning, 17 July 2007.

Br. Dawud has now retired and is teaching school locally in the Colorado Springs area. He was one of the original founding members of Muslim Military Members. Inni Lilahi Wa Inni Illahi Rajeuun.

As salaam alaikum,

Although, I can't remember meeting Br. Dawud Salaam while being on active duty because I have meet a lot of muslim servicemembers, I was still able to contact Br.Dawud and offer him my condolence for his loss, and to make dua for him. Thank you Br. Musudi and Br. Abdul-Rashid for keeping others like myself abreast, so that we can somehow comfort each other in our moments of dispair.
